Ruger LCP LC9 Grip Extensions
While the Ruger LCP frame has sufficient checkering to keep it firmly anchored in your hand many shooters find that adding a grip sleeve can greatly enhance the LCP’s ergonomics. In addition to providing an improved gripping surface over the factory checkered plastic wrap around grips can provide a slight increase in the grips dimensions. While adding only a small difference dimensionally grip enhancers can give the pistol a much improved feel and increase traction in situations where perspiration or other forms of moisture may be a factor.
Ruger LCP LC9 Hogue and Pachmayr Grips
Rubber is the most common material found in wrap around grips and greatly improves grip by creating a tacky surface versus the non-porous glass filled nylon frame of the LCP. Grip sleeves from companies such as Hogue and Pachmayr provide non-slip grip that will benefit both ant the range and in defense encounters.

Ruger LCP LC9 Pearce Grip Extension
Since the Ruger LCP is an extremely compact gun some shooters find it helps to add a magazine/Grip extension to your pistol. The Pearce Grip Extension adds length to the front of the grip frame allowing for an addition finger to hold the pistol. For most shooters this allows for a 3 finger grip instead of two which increases stability and felt recoil significantly. There is no real sacrifice in concealment since there is no increase in length to the butt of the pistol on the front strap.
