This is what is what I chose for my very first gun, crazy eh? I sucked at it the very first time I took it to the range. After 800 rounds with this little revolver, I rock! I can plink with this little gun nicely up to 20 yards. I mostly shoot 38+p 125 gr nicely. I''m so comfortable with this gun, very fun to shoot. I''ve tried regular 38 spec. but find it a little boring. A .357 110 grain and that .38+p 125 gr is the max load I''d recommend for this revolver. I have the crossbreed supertuck in horsehide holster. So comfy I forget I''m even carrying a fully loaded .357 mag. Highly recommended.

Fast service, great price. The gun is great. It seems to shoot low but I have only put 200rds down range. Using 158grn it has some recoil not an all day shooter but ok for 50 to 100. Shooting 38spl 125grn it si like a 22. If I had a reason to own two I would buy another. It caries well and loaded with 158grn I weigh it at 19.8oz My taurus 709 slim weight is 19oz empty. I now carry the Lcr.
