WANTED to ehjoy my SASS shooting just a little more. decided that i needed a matched pair of Vaqueros. also decided on the 357 chambering because i felt it was extremely versatile. 357magnum for self protection and maybe a hunting weapon. then 38 specials for plinking. i have loaded some cartridges in black powder and they sure make lots of smoke and noise. the fit and function is superb. the only issue i have is that the guns shoot low and left. i know Ruger will make that right. Since mine are stainless i can make sure to get all the bp fouling off. a fella calls himself Captain Baylor in SASS says he has enjoyed Ruger revolvers for many years he says they r built like tanks and seldom break. even though he shoots nany matches every month. Capt Baylor sez if one shoots Colts and Colt clones to keep a spare. not needed if u shoot Rugers.
