This is an awesome gun. Looks great, and extremely reliable, as with any Ruger pistol. You cant get a better gun for the price. Ruger pistols are easily comparable to much higher priced pistols like Colt or S&W. Cant go wrong with a Ruger.

I own several Ruger pistols-take a look at the KP-90-it won't rust, +, it has a hard metal frame +, it carries an 8 rd clip +, it digests all kinds of .45, if you're in an odd ammo situation, you got to shoot what you can get +. Wikipedia sez, it was originally designed to handle 10mm pressures and it eats .45+ and it's variants, again a +. Maybe those European gun tests were biased, I think they were, the KP-90 has heft, takes pressure and I have NEVER had a jam, or a stove pipe-it rides on my hip, period.

I owned a KP 90 for several years, best pistol I ever owned hands down. I never had one jam. The action is real smooth and it's simple as can be to field strip and clean. I am currently in the market to purchase another one. In my opinion it rivals or beats all the other pistols I've shot or owned in my life.
